Hi angels! This is my first thread, so bear with me if it’s bad.
Here is EVERYTHING I DO as a part of my softmaxxing journey.
Eyes:
Long eyelashes are so important for increased facial contrast.
I use Grandelash every night and have been doing so for years. I have had great results but some people say it has caused discoloration around the eyes, or sunken orbitals, so be aware of the risk.
before and after from Reddit.
Bright scelaras are another important sign of attractiveness.
Any over the counter eyedrops will work. Lumify works best but they are significantly more expensive than others and can cause irritation if overused so don’t use it everyday.
I use Clear Eyes drops in the morning and at night. This helps especially for contact users like me because my eyes tend to get redder from putting them in and taking them out.
I use Trader Joe’s eye cream at night (people really sleep on TJ’s cosmetics!). This makes a big difference in the color of my undereyes and how sunken they are. I highly recommend.

Hair:
Long hair is LAW
Hair Health:
This thread is amazing for hair growth, so definitely check it out.
I’ve also seen good results from using a hair mask once/twice a week. I use Eva NYC but any one with a thick consistency will work best. I wash my hair often so this helps it feel less dry especially towards the ends.
I use the Trader Joe’s hair oil every night when I sleep and put my hair in a low pony or braid with a silk hair-tie. It is so important to be sleeping with your hair in a style like that to avoid tangling and breakage. I use OUAI anti-frizz cream and the TJ’s hair oil again when I heat style.
I know Biotin is mostly cope but I take 5,000 mcg daily.
Color:
In my opinion, getting your hair done professionally is worth the money.
My natural shade is a dark/dirty blonde but I keep it a bright, warmer blonde. I get a partial balayage every 4-5 months. This is very pricy, though, so if you don’t have the means I would opt for keeping your natural color with professional highlights once every 6 months or so.
Here is my hair currently
Long hair is LAW
- According to the study:
- “individuals who can afford the high costs of long hair are those who have good phenotypic and genetic quality”
- “only long and medium-length hair had a significant positive effect on ratings of women's attractiveness; the other hairstyles did not influence the evaluation of their physical beauty.”
- “male raters considered the longer-haired female subjects' health status better, especially if the subjects were less attractive women.”

Nose:
I've been blessed with a pretty straight nose on my side profile, but the tip is more round and my nostrils are only slightly exposed from front on profile. Hydrocortisone causes skin thinning, so it can be used to shrink your nose. Hydrocortisone can be bought over the counter at any drugstore.
Here's a good thread from .org about Hydrocortisone. I would follow his instructions.
OP had pretty good results.
Lips:
I have 1ml lip filler, and I plan on getting an additional .5-.75 ml in my top lip sometime before this summer. I recommend a little bit of lip filler, but it’s very important not to overdo it (which is why I’m only getting a little more). It’s very pricey, too. Here are my results.
Before 1ml lip filler:
After:
Teeth:
I recommend Crest whitening strips. The best thing to do is get them in bulk on Amazon on Prime Day.
Great results from reddit.

Skin:
I ice my face in the morning. This helps reduce initial puffiness in the morning.
The one I use is six dollars on Amazon.
I go to the gym in the morning as well and cardio helps my face depuff.
I currently take oral minocycline 100 mg/day and plan on doing so for 2 months before switching to spirolactone (derm’s recommendation.) I also use Tretinoin .025% night. Tret is great for acne and wrinkles.
Tretinoin requires a prescription but is pretty easy to get.
Tretinoin results from reddit.
I also use The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe & NAG every morning before using The Ordinary moisturizer.
I think that eyepatches get a bad rap and they have a good immediate short-term effect. I like any hyaluronic acid ones, especially if you put them in the fridge before using. You can get them in bulk on Amazon for cheap. I like these ones.
️IF YOU USE PIMPLE PATCHES
️
Stop buying them. This is the exact same thing that pimple patches are made out of and is ASTRONOMICALLY cheaper. You can just cut little patches out of the tape and put them where your pimples are.
Tanmaxxing:
L-Tyrosine supplements have been shown to increase melanin production. Copper supplements have also been shown to improve the appearance/color of the skin. I don’t currently take either of these but I plan to start.
Beta-carotene also increases melanin production. This is found in carrots, so I try to eat them often.
You can also take Beta-carotene supplements.
Makeup:
If you have a longer-than-proportional midface like me, there are various techniques you can use to shorten the midface. R/vindicta and R/splendida have some pretty good guides on how to do your makeup according to your face shape.

Body:
I am currently BMI 21.3 and want to get down to BMI 19.0. I think that facial fat is one of my biggest flaws. I plan on doing this without semaglutide or any peptide.
Fitness:
You have to be going to the gym. I go to the gym 4-5x a week and always start with 45 mins of 13.5 incline 3.5 speed on the treadmill. Non-negotiable.
My current split is: Abs, abs, back, abs, legs/glutes. I also do hot yoga 1 or 2 times/week. Body recomp was something I had to do a while ago but it is SO WORTH IT! There are good guides on here and .org on how to do this.
Diet:
Black coffee is amazing because it is basically 0 calories, stimulates digestion, and functions as an appetite suppressant.
I always have 1 or 2 cups of black coffee in the morning as soon as I wake up before I drink any water to best stimulate digestion.
I drink a lot of tea as well. Stop sleeping on tea!! Drinking it after a meal is amazing, especially if it is hot it makes you feel super full immediately. I like chamomile.
I also use nicotine to suppress my appetite. I use zyns. If I’m feeling hungry but am not planning on eating at that moment I will just put a zyn in and it gets rid of my hunger in about a half hour. I don’t recommend vaping or smoking. Everyone knows that's terrible for you, I don’t think I have to explain.
I generally don’t eat processed sugar (>10g sugar/serving). This has helped me lean out and I never get hangovers anymore

Going out:
I drink senna leaf tea 24 hours before going out.
This tea basically works as a laxative, so be prepared to be on the toilet for a while. It also causes extreme cramps, so be careful if you can’t handle that. In a pinch, I'll use laxatives but they’re way worse for you. If you care about having a flat stomach for the night, I recommend.
I also take a few diuretics before I go out. I space these out by ~6 hours. They can definitely help you look slimmer for the evening, but definitely don’t use more than once a week.
