A while ago she sent me a text message just asking to meet up to talk or something, I gave her excuses to not go and the conversation stopped there.
Today she messaged me again.
Started with “holaaa,” then a string of messages about wanting to talk, maybe meet up, maybe call, then she hit me said:
“quiero pedirte un mega favor.”
It didn’t feel random. It felt like she was being nice because she needed something. And yeah, part of me wants to ignore it.
But tbh I kinda still love her.
That’s what hurts the most. It’s not that she treated me like shit, or that it was some toxic relationship. We just didn’t work.
I’ve coped in my own way, hookups, one night stands, all that shit. (It doesn’t work)
We were too different, she lived a really though childhood and I honestly did not. We were bringed up in really different circumstances, our values, needs and wants were not compatible.
The breakup wasn’t dramatic, it was just sad. Like watching someone you care about slowly turn into a stranger, and now she’s texting me like nothing happened.
Some people you love deeply, but you just can’t build a future with them. That’s the truth.
So now I’m stuck. Half of me wants to meet up, see her face again, hear her voice, pretend things could be different. The other half knows better.
