Doesn't apply to adults ( sort of ) but if you are young not having to clock in to a job is the best.
Almost all of my friends from HS are "clocking" into something and it's utterly cringe, whether it be a part time job or some pre-requisite class to their degree. ( Some of them are already doing a degree )
I want to first make it clear that I'm referring to not having the "need" to work. It's gay if you are leeching off your parents a fair amount just because you can't man up / take responsibility.
Not having the need to work = you get to work on yourself and stuff, spend time how you want, not having to follow some schedule made by some other geriatric employee who seeks to exploit you to the limits of his conscious and the law.
Unless your job is contributing to something you otherwise wouldn't have access to like an apprenticeship to a career you want or money you need, do not work. It's stupid.
