orthodontic advice plz

i’m 18 and interested in getting braces bc my teeth aren’t very straight but i don’t fully trust dentists/orthodontists and im not fully educated on what’s best for my overall appearance. im worried that i might either have to get teeth removed or get a palette expander because i really don’t wanna make the wrong decision and descend to subhuman. i also dont know what to do with my wisdom teeth because they’re growing in rn and i dont want to remove them and my dentist seems to want me to get them removed.

It's hard to give advice without a picture but I'm gonna glaze Damon braces any chance I get SOOO I advise you to look into them. Definitely continue to do your own research. Dentists/orthodontists have gotten better/more educated on this, but some still encourage the extraction of healthy teeth, NOT good!

if ur pallate is narrow then u need marpe which is good for aesthetics but not much i can say.

bro please get wisdom teeth removed ASAP I waited a bit longer than I should have and the pains HORRIBLE, I got them removed less than a month ago and its still hurting. wisdom teeth are removed because as they're growing they're going to start hitting your back teeth and basically kinda like a domino hitting another domino you're gonna likely end up with jacked up teeth as it continues.
