When would people have to review facial landmarks, if not for faceiqlabs?

I'm guessing you're gonna say: "People can still have bad landmarks, if they take ratios themselves."

Well, I don't think that's what Dean meant. This forum is promoting faceiqlabs, so I'll interpret this as reviewing faceiqlabs facial landmarks.

He even says that a PC/Laptop is required. You can still take ratios off of a photo with a phone, there is apps for that. I doubt faceiqlabs works with just a phone

I also want to argue that if people have a different harmony/misc/ang/dimo formula people will get weird scores. Some will be placed lower on a stricter system (Say @genio for example) and others who do not look better than that person will somehow be put higher.

So, I'm guessing that they'll have to compromise and use faceiqlabs for the sake of validity.

A pixel? If someone asked me to do their harmony and I have to make sure about a pixel difference, I'm asking for a higher quality picture.
It's not that difficult, I have friends who do it on phones. I'd argue some of their landmarks are better than most tiktok "analyzers"

Reviewing facial landmarks is something you can eyeball without needing to do ratios, you can tell if someones esr, fwhr or tfwhr is bad, the same applies with all other main ratios.

Well that's stupid isn't it? What if the ESR is unideal by 0.05, you reckon people notice that? What if it's ideal, but someone says it's unideal. It's stupid, very stupid. Very subjective too.

You can only tell if a ratio is unideal, if it like a T2. What if it's a T1.5?

i think its still worth measuring to find out what the specific issue is
simply eyeballing it is not reliable
for example, a compact midface can make eye look further set as i have confused a 47.7 esr as being “too wide” due to the 1.2 midface

It's still a T1.5, so yeah, reduces harmony.

What a stupid argument. We are rating facial aesthetics we will be mean and very objective in our assessment. When is the line drawn about what's "worth it" if it deviates by 0.1? 0.2? A 1?

You're hyper fixated on trying to improve changes. I'm talking about rating faces.

I already clarified this. If I say that something would be done by eyeballing then the line would be drawn when its a noticeable issue from someone eyeballing. Yes it depends on whos looking to determine where the line is at, but the entire subcommunity of raters in looksmax are a bunch of circlejerking autists. The original goal of self improvement in here was to appeal to women and have a better life as a result of better social treatment.

Again, nothing is official yet, there are still things to be discussed, I'm sure there will be services for the people who hyperfixate on ratios, and services for normal people.

I am telling you that the usage of FaceIQ Labs hasn't been discussed, as I'm one of the people working on this project, maybe it comes up in the future, maybe it doesn't, but if somebody is able to replicate or have better results than something like FaceIQ Labs then there's no purpose in forcing them to use it. It would be stupid to force people to use software they dislike, and you discouraging people by saying they'll need to use a software that they won't need to use makes no sense.
