The only pasteurized dairy I can get currently is 1-2 % fat
(basically water)
I'd prefer to get whole milk but that means it would have to come out my pocket but id rather use my pocket money for raw milk which is a bit of a hike, I could bike but its not really safe to do
So do i just consume the 1-2% and have raw occassionally? or do i cut out the 1-2% entirely and only get raw when i can

Honestly, I’d just have raw milk occasionally. Save yourself the money which can be spent on other things. I know it sucks it’s not whole milk all the time but y’know. I don’t know where you are on budgetary standpoint, but either way seems like a lot of effort to get the whole milk.

Ehhh, yeah I see your point. The money you have can be better diversified in other areas, honestly yeah I’d say cut it out.

yes bro that is funny if you put it like that but yes lmao

knowing something is dangerous while still doing it increases test
Just get into a shootout getting whole milk theory.

It's more important to constantly drink milk

It shapes your microbiome and you are able to make more bioavailable proteins and hormones. ( Read a paper on habitual milk consumers vs non habituals. HMCs drank at least a litre+ a week I think)

But honestly commercial milk is poison since the hormones they use on the cows in found in the milk, causes an estrogenic effect.

I am switching to locally farmed milk next month. I'm also planning on learning to make dairy products myself

I would argue it's still better than nothing, as you're still getting some nutrients. Get whole milk as often as it's convenient for you, and obviously always aim to be getting the raw stuff. Still, I get your point about it being useless, but in my opinion you may as well still drink it.

Personally i've a deal with a local farmer friend of my dad, i can get free tallow and free whole raw milk who is around ~6% i can do butter, grass feed of course. Most of the time i do kefir with it, and sometimes the kefir turn into spread cheese if i add garlic and pepper

You should start make it as kefir, it reduces the lactose since it's a form of sugar while increasing the pre/probiotics, healthy fat and protein

In theory its ideal
Serious talk with gf tonight

I drink it because it's all I got, but do what works for you.

As much as I love goatis, I've only acquired trust in him from the proof he provides. Is there proof for his claims here? It makes sense in theory, I'm not arguing that, I'm just curious.

lowkey poor proof yeah
but its basically saying without the enzymes in natural milk the body struggles with it

Also I've seen in videos that goatis has said pasteurized dairy isn't a complete waste because it retains some fat soluble vitamins.

maybe newer ones yeah
So whole milk i guess
but still the enzymes are necessary for full use
Whole milk might be ok idrk , i cant get that either though so no point

Fair take, I'd still argue based on evidence that it isn't useless. There's at least something to get out of it even if it could be considered insignificant.

Lifefuel for me. I've been absolutely drowning in whole milk recently, I've convinced my parents to start buying high milk fat dairy, in an attempt to get more fat soluble vitamins. I've completely cut out 2% watery bs. Only whole milk.

@Whitepill so you think it's worth it for me to do what I can with whole milk?
