Peptides to ascend? This guide is going to delve into:
What works, What Doesn't, and Why Most People Are Doing it All Wrong

┣▇▇▇═─

A majority of the looksmaxxing community treats peptides like they are the cheat code to ascension.

NEWS FLASH!!! ↴
They're not.

I'd even argue they are one of the most misunderstood (and misused) tools right now, mainly because people jump right in without understanding what they do at a biological level.
In this post I will try to break down:
۶ৎ What peptides can realistically help you achieve
۶ৎ Where they actually help
۶ৎ Why peptide "stacking" can be pointless/counterproductive

┣▇▇▇═─

What Do Peptides Even Do?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in your body. These signals get sent to your cells to aid the body in weight loss, anti-aging, immune functions, etc., but not all peptides work the same (we'll get to that later!)
Instead of directly forcing a change like you see in steroids, they bind to your receptors, trigger pathways (like growth hormone release or increased collagen production), and help influence the processes your body does naturally.

This is why results can be:
۶ৎ Slow
۶ৎ Subtle
۶ৎ Dependent on your baseline (sleep, diet, hormones, overall appearance, etc.)

In summary, if your baseline is already shit, the signal won't magically turn you into a PSL God(dess).

A Breakdown of Commonly Used Peptides ໒꒱
GHK-Cu (Copper Peptides)

GHK-Cu is one of the few peptides with a relatively solid
backing when it comes to skin regeneration!

It Can:

۶ৎ Increase collagen and glycosaminoglycan production
۶ৎ Greatly improve the rate of wound healing
۶ৎ Occasionally stimulate hair follicle activity

How does it work:
It
enhances processes your skin already uses to repair itself.

Cons?

۶ৎ Results take months, not mere weeks (for all the impatient people out there)
۶ৎ Overuse can cause skin irritation
۶ৎ Topical use has been studied more than injectable

GHK-Cu is one of the only peptides where newfags can benefit without seeing major risks.

﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉୨♡୧﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉

CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin (Growth Hormone Secretagogues)

These two stimulate your pituitary gland to release more of the growth hormone.

It Can:
۶ৎ Mimic GHRH/ghrelin signaling

۶ৎ Increase pulsatile GH release, which in turn raises IGF-1 levels

This leads to:
۶ৎ Better recovery

۶ৎ Indirect minimal fat loss
۶ৎ Improved sleep quality for some people

Unfortunately some people don't understand that growth hormone doesn't always mean instant aesthetics.

So, if you:
۶ৎ Don't train like a lazy lard ass

۶ৎ Have a shit diet
۶ৎ Don't receive proper sleep

You probably won't see a difference in your appearance.

Side notes:
۶ৎ It can cause water retention (this temporarily worsens facial aesthetics)

۶ৎ Can also cause insulin sensitivity with prolonged use

﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉୨♡୧﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉
BPC-157

BPC is known for it's ability to aid in injury recovery and tissue reparation.

It Can:
۶ৎ Promote angiogenesis (this helps new blood vessel formation)

۶ৎ Accelerates the healing rate of tendons, ligaments, and gut tissue

I feel like it is important to note that this is NOT an appearance enhancer. If you're not injured the effect this will have on you is minimal, if anything at all. People often misuse BPC-157 because they are tards that think healing is looking better for some odd reason.

﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉୨♡୧﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉
Melanotan II

Melanotan II is a synthetic analog of the neuropeptide alpha-MSH which affects pigmentation.

It Can:
۶ৎ Stimulate melanocytes in the body which in turn increases melanin production.

This Means:
۶ৎ It darkens the skin without any UV exposure

۶ৎ It can sometimes increase libido or cause changes in appetite

Cons:
۶ৎ Nausea is a common symptom

۶ৎ Uneven pigmentation
۶ৎ Has a tendency to darken pre-existing freckles & moles

A very high risk peptide.

﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉୨♡୧﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉
Retatrutide or 'Reta'

Reta is a newer peptide which acts on GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. Basically a shinier version of GLP-1.

It Can:
۶ৎ
Suppress your appetite
۶ৎ Changes energy balance ergo, weight loss

It literally works because you just eat less.

A lot of people think it is directly affecting their bodies but it's just something you can do on your own without the use of peptides if you have enough willpower. All it really does is facilitate your fat loss.

Cons:
۶ৎ Nausea & fatigue

۶ৎ Potential to lose muscle if you don't consume enough protein or train properly
۶ৎ The long-term effects aren't known yet.

﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉୨♡୧﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉
Glutathione

Glutathione is known for skin brightening and/or whitening. It functions as more than the standard antioxidant.

It Is:
۶ৎ An antioxidant that influences the pathways of melanin

Taking this one orally/topically is shitty and it works better as an injection. Injecting it can be inconsistent as well, but it yields much better results.
Results can vary due to factors like an individuals skin tone, their exposure to the sun, and their overall health.

To Stack or Not to Stack?
I personally dislike the idea of stacking. At the very least I don't find it wise to stack more than 2-3 at once without trying them all on their own first. For example which one sounds better?
The No-Stack Method:
۶ৎ
Have a consistent skincare routine
۶ৎ Getting proper sleep
۶ৎ Exercising w/ proper diet
۶ৎ Using 1 peptide while being able to target which one is giving you issues or benefitting you and then moving on to the next peptide after yielding results
OR
The Stack Method:
۶ৎ
Have a bad diet, stay up until 5AM, let ur skin rot off your face

۶ৎ Oh yippee you found peptides this will solve all of your problems!!!
۶ৎ Take Reta, Melanotan, and BPC-157

۶ৎ Your symptoms overlap with 0 benefit
۶ৎ Side effects start stacking faster than your results and you can't isolate what is working
With stacking all you aim to achieve is combining a bunch of compounds without actually knowing what they do all because you can't be patient with your results.

The Dangers of Pinning At Home
(AKA The Part People Try to Ignore because they think they know everything)

This is not to discourage anyone from doing this. It is just to make sure everyone is aware of the risks.
When you inject peptides at home, you're in a non-sterile environment. You're more than likely getting access to these peptides via an unregulated supplier from China who is putting god knows what in it. There is often inconsistent purity and dosages in the vials and clearly there is no medical professional to assist you so do this at your own risk.

If you pin incorrectly, please understand that it is possible to get infections and accesses. You probably will have improper injection technique so please don't poke yourself willy nilly and at least try to do your own research on how to pin properly. You are dealing with possibly contaminated compounds and unpredictable side effects.

It doesn't matter how careful you think you are at the end of the day you aren't a medical professional.

┣▇▇▇═─

All in all, peptides are better suited for people who already have strong habits and acknowledge that peptides can only add on small optimizations to what they are already working with. People who are not willing to lead a healthy lifestyle will not find much benefits from peptides. Anyone who doesn't is just experimenting and hoping for a shortcut that will never happen.

(Disclaimer: I am not a licensed medical professional, as you can probably tell. Take everything I said with a grain of salt and use this advice at your own discretion! Also did not proof read so edits will probably happen.)

Is there a peptide that makes my ass hair stop growing

js

Is there a peptide that makes my ass hair stop growing
funny enough there actually is, TGF-beta would probably help, but it probably wouldnt be targeted so it would affect all of your hair follicles. if it were topical you could probably do it, though i dont know how effective it is.

All in all, peptides are better suited for people who already have strong habits and acknowledge that peptides can only add on small optimizations to what they are already working with. People who are not willing to lead a healthy lifestyle will not find much benefits from peptides. Anyone who doesn't is just experimenting and hoping for a shortcut that will never happen.

funny enough there actually is, TGF-beta would probably help, but it probably wouldnt be targeted so it would affect all of your hair follicles. if it were topical you could probably do it, though i dont know how effective it is.
Wait this solves all my problems. Is there one for that makes my toenails stop growing
