So it is pretty common knowledge that putting bones under mechanical stress grows them. Wolff's law describes how bone adapts to mechanical tension (and compression) by remodeling its structure. When bone is put under mechanical stress an internal piezoelectric charge is created, this charge directly stimulates osteoblast activity causing osteogenesis. To use this phenomena to your advantage a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) can be used to create artificial charges, stimulating osteoblast activity, and therefore causing osteogenesis. Now to do this effectively you must not exceed 1-10khz as anything above 10khz is no longer beneficial and can cause bone reabsorption. It is also beneficial to have these frequencies in pulses 10-100 microseconds ideally. You will also need electrode pads to get the frequency to the bone itself. It should be noted that this method will have minimal effect on bones that are not superficial (located close to the skin). The places ideal for stimulation would be the top and bottom of the femur, top of the tibia, calcaneus, lumbar spine, and clavicles.
