Do you know good forums (outside of the designated ones for specific distros) for discussing this stuff?

Also the CachyOS you recommended earlier seems amazing, I'll have to give it a shot.

none of the forums are good enough to be a one for all destination to be honest so what I would suggest is just using

1) Using the forum for your distro specifically ( cachyos and mint has one )
2) Reddit ( unironically good )
3) Troubleshoot problems by searching and then sorting via forum option on google
