As much as i know, when ur mewing, ur supposed to keep ur tongue on the upper palate and have ur teeth touching a little right

but how are my teeth supposed to touch?

should i bring my jaw forward so that the tips of my front teeth are touching like this:

idk what an overjet is but i asked my dentist ab an overbite and she said i dont have one; my bite is good
i think i do have it tho, my jaw is recessed so

idk what an overjet is but i asked my dentist ab an overbite and she said i dont have one; my bite is good
i think i do have it tho, my jaw is recessed so

overbite is when the upper jaw overlaps the lower jaw, and an overjet is when the upper front teeth stick out to the front, but the jaw doesnt overlap

It depends.. if you’ve had really terrible tongue posture your entire life and are still around 16 you might be able to squeeze a little bit of forward growth out.
If you aren’t super recessed and have always had good tongue posture it probably wont do much

my teeth are like in the first pic, my upper teeth are in front and covering like half of my lower teeth

and if i smile normally u cant see my lower teeth at all bc theyre half covered by my upper teeth and other half behind my lip

Bringing your jaw forward is just jutting which is a way to fraud and won’t do anything and is not required for mewing

It depends.. if you’ve had really terrible tongue posture your entire life and are still around 16 you might be able to squeeze a little bit of forward growth out.

Yeah hopefully you can see some changes. Other factors can play a role in looking recessed as well though, just mewing isn’t going to see major results

yeah i used an ai to analyse my face and it said my posture is making it worse bc my neck is like forward
