Really sad today because of this

Today I sent a picture to my online female friend using the back camera, natural lighting, and 2× zoom (which is closest to how I look in real life). She said, "You look completely different and better when I video call you."
Now I'm not sure what this means. Does it mean:
I'm genuinely a sub-5?
I look much better in motion/video than in photos?
I look better when my face appears longer?
She also said that I look good in selfies. However, my FWHR is already around 1.8 and my midface is long, so my face is already fairly long. I don't really know what to think. What do you guys think why she said that ?

well, what'd you expect? back and front cameras are very different from each other, so it only makes sense she'd tell you that, though i highly doubt she had an intention of hurting you by saying it

Yae ik that she didn't have any bad intentions but like most people look good in back camera but she said I look.good in front then back and I look way different in back

could mean you dont look good enough for the back camera yet, only the front
won't immediately mean you're THAT ugly tho. many and many good looking people think they're ugly when they see their face from the back camera

Yae but they think that they look ugly but in my case another person said that I look good in front then back

yeah it sucks, unfortunately when it comes to being online if u arent talking with someone about how u really look u should keep it frauded

you don't know what this means? it means front cam > back cam for you. some ppl just look better in motion/video than stills. her comment wasn't an insult, she probably was just being honest about how she perceives your looks. cope or face the reality that maybe the pics aren't doing you justice
