Request Solution Thread

If you feel like your answer or someone else's answer should be marked as a solution to a post, you can make your request here.

Or if you feel like a solution was given in error, you can ask for it to be adjusted here.

This is a post for people to ask staff to mark a solution where the post seems inactive/OP is not around to mark it.

It's ultimately up to the OP of the thread to mark a solution. It's normally subjective, and a user can override a pre-existing solution.

How to mark a post as a solution

Only ask users once to mark a post as a solution. If the user is confused, you can explain how to mark it as a solution (or redirect them here), but don't pester newbies or users to mark solutions.

On desktop:

On the right side of a post, you will see a checkmark icon. Clicking it will mark that post as a solution.

When a post has been successfully marked as the solution, it should appear green.

And it will appear "pinned" underneath the body.

On mobile:

On the bottom of a post, you will see a checkmark icon. Clicking it will mark that post as a solution.

How to use filters

Filters will help you to find posts that don't have a solution.

You can access your pre-determination filters on the left-side top of the looksmaxxing questions page, underneath the site's breadcrumbs.

Isn’t the op supposed to decide what they want to be the solution for their question 😭

this was very much needed
I can probably estimate the IQ of this site because of this post here
All of the questions has replies upon replies explaining how to mark a solution. It's extremely annoying from a reading stand point, to have a thread flooded over something as mundane as marking a solution. I don't know how to fix it besides to explain how it works and pin it.

nothing can fix it, and its funny because they wont even see this thread and they will keep not understanding how to mark a fucking solution

Like with everything else I've written for this site. :sadge:

anything that is above your maintenance calories will make you gain weight, you just gotta find very calorie dense foods to eat to make the process easier, or increase appetite, mk677 or other gh secretagogues do a good job at making you very hungry, but I wouldnt reccomend you do it doe

mark solution now 😡
A lot of solutions are subjective (as in it does not necessarily mean it's the solution for the OP). Just because you ask for one it does not necessarily mean you should get one.

Some things are just objective though, which is mainly what this thread is for.

what I said was objective, the only softmax for uee is tryna cover then with longer lashes and the only way of gaining weight is a calorie surplus, nothing of what I said is subjective, maybe suggesting a gh secretagogue but thats completely optional

It's more complicated than that. I guess I only plan on marking solutions if there was no other possible response that could've been given. Using the scoliosis thread here, there was a lot of debate about what could've and couldn't of been done, and some of it was objective, but the only "correct" solution was to seek medical treatment because it's a medical condition.

Even though your response to those threads were objective, it's not the only response that could've been given. A lot of looksmaxxing is theoretical or based solely off of personal experience; being objective is not a qualifier in of itself. When I mean things are just some objective, I mean there's objectively only one correct answer.

The weight loss one I could probably give you a solution for, but half of it included other variables and so I was leaving it up to the OP.

Users be doing everything in their power to fight for the solution, while grey OP does not know how or logs off forever after posting
