Hey everyone. I was last on here a couple of months ago (February-April) to interview some users on their thoughts and experiences in a Looksmaxxing community. Thanks to everyone that participated, the research should be published sometime next year.

I’m conducting similar research, but for men struggling in romantic/sexual/sociall relationships. I think a lot of research is written about these men without actually consulting them, but I’m looking to actually talk to individuals about their thoughts, opinions, and experiences through interviews.

Interviews can be conducted over audio chat or messaging and they would be confidential with any personal information (including username) removed and securely deleted, and not shared beyond myself (the sole researcher on this project). I have an information sheet which expands upon this.

Nah I don’t work for an organisation, I’m an early career university academic researcher. This research will get published in an academic journal if it’s good enough (so who knows haha)

That's pretty cool, I've always thought this would be a rlly interesting topic to write about and then dive deeper into like the philosophy, it would be both a research paper (about the diy looksmaxing people do and the online communities) and then like a deeper look on what this means about the world. No matter how far we advance as humans there's some brute biological things that will always be there. Good luck with your research bhai
