I have mild to moderate acne, what should I add to my basic skincare routine?

Morning:
cleansing foam
moisturising cream with niacinamide
spf 50++

Night:
cleansing foam
adapalene
moisturising cream with niacinamide

best thing to treat acne is tretinoin to adding that to your routine
as well as that - ensure your spf 50 contains hylauronic acid

tretinoin is a prescription drug in my country, and the difference between it and adapalene doesn't seem that significant perhaps just in terms of how harsh it is
about spf idk cause i have a korean spf but it doesn't dry out my skin, so I think it's fine.

rxcessed said add tretinoin but you're already on adapalene, which is a retinoid, so that's a sidestep and not an upgrade. Routine's solid otherwise. What's missing is benzoyl peroxide, that covers the bacterial side, which adapalene doesn't touch.

do you think it won't conflict with niacinamide if i add benzoyl peroxide?

just add azelaic acid and you're basically good to go.

Will azelaic acid conflict with adapalene and niacinamide at the same time? I heard that it's better not to combine acids with retinoids because they have too aggressive an effect on the skin, i thought it would be better to first take a course of adapalene and then gradually move on to acids.

yes i tested them both on my skin a few different times and each time i had a rash on my face where said products were tested so i use both and wait 24 hours before putting one on after the other

ok thanks i suppose better to take a course of retinoids, then just switch to a course of acids.
