it feels so weird to be found attractive by someone, i mean ofc it’s obviously nice i don’t just mean this in like a heh im humble flexing way

but like wow after an entire life of hating how you look, to have someone telling u they love ur appearance and are super attracted to you just feels so surreal. i feel like an evil wizard who is casting a deceitful spell on someone or like i brainwashed by being nice and it’s gonna wear off in a few months, or that i’m being lied to idk. especially when it’s not just insecurity and you really are objectively meh looking

this is imposter syndrome speaking, most ppl are average, therefore being average and having people attracted to you is normal, especially if u have other redeeming qualities or skills that give u higher appeal. it's not only the top 5% of looks that attracts ppl. however grey it sounds, there's more to attractiveness than just ur face.
