In 7-10 years all the cels in ur body replace themselves

That means 10 years ago max u are a completely different person everything from ur skin to ur organs are copies replaced

It makes me wonder if everything even the cels in ur brain are new, are u a completely different person with memories of 10 years ago you haven’t actually lived?

It’s in par with that theory that every day you go sleep you die and the person that wakes up has all these memories and you think you’ve lived yesterday but ur gonna die the next time u go sleep

And none of this can be disproven btw

If u believe in a soul then yeah but the fact every neuron in ur brain is completely new and different from the one you had 10 years ago it makes me wonder it could be possible u slowly die in the span of 10 years and are literally a new person not the same from ur former self but still thinking u are

Since cels copy themselves that’s why if u have a scar and it’s deep enough it’ll stay since ur body is copying the scar cels it can’t make it the way it was anymore in a way

Fascinating. I also like to ponder over those things. I find it fascinating how fragile is and in what short timeline from the perspective of the existence of the universe biological structure like human body actually exists. We are victims of entropy in this universe. humans, trees, planers, stars.

There is actually a debate amongst philosophers because of this. They question if you are even the same person because of cells completely replacing themselves after seven years. Interesting thought process. Personally I say yes - you’re still the same person. But many will disagree and others may agree.

You're still the same person because the replacement is gradual over years. If it happened overnight, or in days or months, then you could argue that you might not be the same person. However, since the replacement is slow, you don't "change" in that way.
Your brain is constantly changing. Information is passed from one neuron to another, cells die and are rebuilt, yet you remain the same from day to day.
