if you are deep into blackpill philosophy, this thread might help you not get trapped in negative mindsets, or even get out of the blackpill mindset.
i saw someone post about whitepill, so i thought i could add on.
blackpill philosophy is nihilistic, fatalistic, and lazy. if you are just going to accept that you are a loser and then continue to complain about it, it makes you an even bigger loser! i worry about my looks to the extend of a major calorie deficit to lose weight, regular cardio, heavy lifting, face/skin care, hair care/styling, hygiene, dental, etc. and i do alot of research. but i try to, for the most part, not get trapped in an unhappy state of blaming others for the way i am, or even genetics. i take responsibility and work on myself.
if you have a negative, comparitive, anxious mindset 24/7, then yes, you will be unhappy. but if you switch your mindset to gratefulness, wholeness, and clarity, then you will be content, and have long lasting joy rather than temporary happiness.
i started meditating twice a day for 10 minutes each session. i started reading buddhist teachings and books. i started doing breathwork. and i shifted my mindset from "needing" to "wanting" to "desiring" to "not needing". half of the items you desire in life do not give you true fulfillment or happiness. paying mind to that will attract what you want, and make it easier to get. you stop desiring. stop needing. desire leads to suffering. i think everyone should and could looksmaxx, lifemaxx, etc. but if you are unhappy and without peace of mind, isnt it all for nothing? id rather spend 10 years enjoying every second of the present moment than 70 years despising myself and the world around me.
another thing is thinking. people identify with their thoughts, emotions, etc. "i am sad" "i am happy" etc. you are not the thinker of your thoughts. if you were, you would be able to predict the next thought to come into your mind. try it right now.
you cant, but you can be aware of your thoughts, and just let them pass, like leaves on a stream. do not judge them, do not interact with them.
that is meditation. true peace of mind is a mind void of overthinking and worry. thats all. much love.
