So I’ve been starvemaxxing for about a week ish, aka eating between 200-1000 calories a day and on some days not eating anything. I do not have an ED, as I’m just doing this to lose some weight fast, and I don’t feel like eating anyway these days. So far I’ve lost 3kg in 6 days, which ofc also is water weight. Is it problematic to continue starvemaxxing for 2-4 more weeks, aka will it slow down the metabolism and prevent weight loss? Or should I have days where I eat my bmr and then starve the next day , if that would help prevent the metabolism slowing down.

Yeah starving yourself lowers your metabolism (is what I've heard anyways)

Starving will automatically shut down the metabolism to avoid more calories loss so weight/fat/muscles

You should just do a simple caloric deficit and stick to it for weeks/months without nuking your health

What if I eat bmr one day and starve the day after and so on

Yeah it will. Just have a refeed day once a week where you eat a bit above maintenance mostly from carbs

Alright I’ll try that, tysm
It’s a method I know from others who’ve starved it might work at first but honestly if you starve yourself for too long your metabolism will go to shit and there’s not much you can do to help it
Make sure you take a lot of electrolytes it helps to prevent binging (kinda)
Good luck!
