The Bloom Doom collagen guide.
The images, are other looksmax.org threads that can no longer even be clicked anymore
"
You’re probably thinking, “Oh, I eat chicken every day—I’m fine.”
But here’s the catch. Collagen is not in a salmon fillet or a piece of
chicken breast—but in the animals’ skin, joints, bones, and muscle
tissue. - Sally Olivia Kim (Author of The Collagen Glow)
The collagen glow is a book, https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Glow-Guide-Ingestible-Skincare/dp/1682683338.
Not a source. She is trying to sell her product, and using a book to advance those means
Your body already makes collagen from the amino acids found in food
www.mdanderson.org
The only studies showing benefits of direct collagen consumption was megadosing with supplements
nutritionsource.hsph.harvard.edu
The reasoning, is really lazy, and mentions useless supplements, like gin seng, beta carotene, and zinc have weak evidence for them
The peptide section is entirely copy and pasted from Lookmax
No dosaging or anything, I mean I didn't do that in my methylene blue thread but I also didn't intend for it to be placed in "Must Reads"
Collagen powder is NOT absorbed most efficiently
This thread, was something else to say the least
I've already shown how bovine milk is unnecessary for human consumption, and claiming that it makes you taller, just lol.
Then, he cites a shoddy correlation that the tallest countries consume the most milk.
Kazakhstan is ranked 9th on this list, and guess what? They stand at a whopping 174 centimeters on average. Israel is further down the list yet are still taller, at around 176 centimeters on average
This is also just blatantly crappy evidence, based on a faulty link.
He then cites that the Dinka and Maasai are tall and then says its because of the milk.
Now, this is finally some legit evidence, right? They are the tallest in the world broo!
There are millions of other factors, and this is not a legitimate approach, such as sufficient sunlight, low stress, good circadian rhythm sleep, etc. etc.
The Himba tribe also consume tons of milk, and stand at around 5'6 to 5'9
The Borana tribe also consume tons of milk and stand at around 5'7 to 5'9
Not to mention the potential of sexual selection and genetics?
Dietary IGF-1 will not be significant enough to make you taller, or necessarily used.
The vitamin D section, is pretty valid. Fatty fish during winter, moderate amounts of sunlight in the summer.
The rest of this guide, is actually pretty good. But this is just a generic healthy diet, good for development, it's not "heightmaxxing guide", it's to allow you to properly develop.
also just lol at this

Phytoestrogens bind to estrogen, if anything it would be the opposite
However, meta analysis's show that it does nothing
Now, for another heightmaxxing thread
Protein is necessary, but there's absolutely nothing saying that you have to overconsume it
Recommends stretching, which is good short term for posture, but really won't improve height that much
Swimming to increase height? This isn't backed by anything
Swimmers are often taller and wider because this frame allows them to swim faster, but isn't necessarily evidence that swimming makes you taller
Then, he recommends HGH.
HGH definitely works if you are deficient, but if you aren't deficient, doesn't do anything, even in young children.
He then recommends scam artist supplements that "boost height"
They have nutrients. That's it. You can meet your sufficient nutrient intake without these scam "heightmaxxing" supplements
The only good info in there was the LL and shoe lifts, but that's the same with every heightmaxxing tactic
I actually really like this thread on heightmaxxing from .org, I'll put it here
Since most of the methods recommended are in fact cope and not backed up by anything, you can hear it here first hand: https://shorturl.at/jyvbp
This thread is ok but there's nothing linked, no reasoning for anything, and taking collagen will likely cause issues
Not really any benefit to aromatase inhibitors, they will lower libido
Estrogen is also essential for anti aging, which is looksmaxxing??

"
Vitamin Bcomp
Lactobacillus (for digestion to get rid of bloating and other Jewish digestion stuff)
Melatonin"
"jewish digestion stuff??"
You don't need supplements for this, just consume actual probiotics
DHT gel is purely used for micropenis, it's similar to HGH in a way, it works if you are severely underdeveloped in it, but "blasting" won't make any improvements
And again, no reasoning for anything just throwing supplements at us
At least, unlike the heightmaxxing threads it didn't promise anything
Next up, the diet that improves your beauty!!!
These tribes may be well developed, but there are tons of examples of people developing fine on a normal diet
First, he uses a ton of buzzwords
To list some: processed, synthetic, pasteurized
None of these indicate that it's actually bad, or inherently worse
Dr. Price lived in a time frame where we didn't have supplementation, health conscious people that could actually afford food, and hadn't even discovered all of the amino acids.
He lists anecdotal observations, such as them consuming raw milk, with no reasoning behind it
"
These diets were up to 10 times richer in some nutrients such as fat-soluble vitamins such as K2 and D3.
Due to a poor diet and hyperexploitation of the soil, today we are forced to often supplement with some nutrients such as vitamin D or magnesium because the percentage of people with a deficiency of these substances is ridiculously high."
More nutrient rich means nothing, excess nutrients do nothing of benefit
Not everyone needs these supplements, most people do not follow the recommendations for diet.
Says to consume raw foods, ?? No reasoning that he posted behind it
Most people cannot obtain these raw foods fresh, which will allow for bacteria and parasites to proliferate which could be harmful
Says the omega 3:6 balance, yet advocates for saturated fats. Lean game, natural animals often are mostly omega 3s. https://www.purdue.edu/uns/html4ever/020204.Watkins.paleo.html#:~:text=According to Watkins, the analysis, compared to grain-fed beef.
Says to consume collagen further, despite it being unnecessary
"
So we need very little for it to ruin our hormonal balance. You are not consuming pesticides such as glyphosate, which may not harm you but harm your microbiota and generate intestinal permeability.
These cultures do not consume any plastic, nor do they use non-stick pans that contain the famous BPA, these endocrine disruptors affect both men and women. So not pastic.
Not eating industrialized foods also means that you are not eating foods with an altered macronutrient composition, where we consume more carbohydrates than we should and less proteins than we should, this causes our body composition to change. It makes us have less muscle, and worse hormonal balance, and also more body fat."
Firstly, glyphosate needs to be in extremely high dosages to make any effect.
Avoiding BPA is good, but ultimately won't make significant differences.
Carbs aren't necessarily the issue although I am not really for high carbohydrate diets, it's more so the slop processed carbohydrates , refined sugars and grains
Yes hormone disruptions will make a difference but none of this is significant enough to make any change
more about the muh "The second obvious element is that this diet, being rich in foods of HIGH NUTRITIONAL VALUE and rich in fats, is rich in fat-soluble vitamins such as Vitamins A, D3, E and K2."
Everything on this forum seems to be high high high, blast it broo, because, you just have to!
He then shows a study on rats on how k2 deficiencies effect the body. Key word deficiencies, K2 deficiency is also pretty rare since most people consume sufficient animal products. But it's about the excess brooo!!
"Avoid polyunsaturated oils as much as possible, which generally come in the form of: sunflower oil, soybean oil, canola oil, margarine, corn oil, etc."
He then says to avoid them as much as possible, when they are fine in moderation.
"This type of diet rich in saturated fats has paradoxically been shown to reduce lipoprotein A, one of the most important factors of cardiovascular risk, this tells us something strange."
The reasoning behind this is extremely inconsistent, and he doesn't list any mechanical function on why this would occur
"They always spoke badly to us about saturated fats and it was always taught that saturated fat was the most dangerous for generating cardiovascular diseases, however studies and autopsies carried out on plaques that normally form in the coronary artery or in the aorta, showed that they are made of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAS), the most pro-inflammatory. And not saturated fats as previously thought."
Now trys to play it off as a conspiracy theory, and blames PUFAs for a variety of diseases. Omega-6s are still essential for human health, it's all about the ratio. Saturated fats are receiving more positive light, however they still do not reflect the common consensus
This also lacks any research, as I said before
Regardless of this loosey goosy blog writing, there is no diet that "improves your beauty".

Collagen benefits: Should I take a supplement?
Collagen is the most common protein in our body, and it’s crucial for healthy skin, bones and organs. So, will taking collagen supplements provide more benefits to our bodies? Wellness dietitian Lindsey Wohlford weighs in.

Collagen - The Nutrition Source
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. Its fiber-like structure is used to make connective tissue. Like the name implies, this type of tissue
