bookmark this post guys, because i'm 90% sure that this will be one of the biggest discoveries in human history, yes you heard that right, this is based on something I stumbled into while researching iris depigmentation. i have found 2 eye drops that have this effect, both are glaucoma related drugs/meds the first is:

LEVOBUNOLOL:
There is an actual published case report in the British Journal of Ophthalmology describing a 68-year-old man whose brown eyes changed to blue after 5 years of using levobunolol twice daily. The examination confirmed that the iris stroma was largely depigmented. this guy literally had his eyes go from brown to blue in just 5 year of levobunolol use and here's the medical study/report to back it up:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10660314/

https://www.researchgate.net/public...ossible_complication_of_levobunolol_eye_drops

if that was just it a one time thing then i wouldn't have put much thought in this case but there is also a separate 2006 IOVS/ARVO report titled “Acquired Iris Depigmentation with Chronic Levobunolol Usage,” which is cited in later ophthalmology literature. that talks about 2 black women who had experienced the same damn literally they had their deep dark brown eyes turn blue from the same drug/med, here are the medical reports that back it up:

https://iovs.arvojournals.org/article.aspx?articleid=2395402

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31746002/

Beyond the published literature, there are also anecdotal reports online. For example, one Reddit user reported that after roughly 2 years on levobunolol, their eyes looked “a little lighter,” although they said the difference was subtle.

now onto the second eye drop TIMOLOL :

This one is much less established scientifically, but I found an interesting firsthand Reddit report from someone who said their hazel eyes became blue while using timolol + brimonidine. They also said that after timolol was stopped, their eyes became “not quite as blue anymore.” That's obviously anecdotal, but the before/after-withdrawal detail is interesting, and he's not the only one on that thread, i also asked some questions about how it happened. and i've also found and talked to other timolol users privately who had similar effects.

but when it comes to timolol's eye lightening effects it's seems that it'ss rarer than levobunolol's and i have a theory on why that is the case, it's because of latanoprost and other medication like it, most people who use those drops get darker colored eyes after a certain period of time there are even studies of that effect and it's a very well known effect in the glaucoma field as opposed to de-pigmentation effect. so if you were using timolol alone, your eyes would most likely become blue/grey after 5-6 years maybe less depending on your biology, but since most people use timolol with eye drops that are known to darken the iris then they kinda cancel each other out when it comes to the pigmentation/depigmentation effects that they both have. that's what i think at least.

I'm NOT claiming this is a done deal people but I'm looking for anyone with firsthand experience, old ophthalmology papers, case reports, photographs, or other evidence that could help establish this phenomenon as more common than the literature currently suggests. but even if the timolol part is false and we discount the many people that have that effect we are still left with the overwhelming evidence of levobunolol's effect on iris de-pigmentation, so in other words a billionaire douche like elon musk could easily put 200 million or more and a bunch of scientists on this case to isolate the effect of these eye drops or the iris and create a medication that could do it in a year and is safer, so if any billionaire is reading this "please do it dawg" lol.

and no this is not a direct medical advice. but i along with a few other friends will be trying both these eye drops out to test them first hand.

and with that i rest my case.

btw this is a copy-paste from reddit thread on r/biohacking

blake speaks talked abt this a while ago

i can’t remember why but im pretty sure it got debunked
