1: Put on Pulse Points

Did you know that applying perfume to certain areas of your body can help enhance its scent? It's true! For years, people have been using pulse points like the neck, wrists, and back of the knees to make their perfume smell even better. These areas emit more heat, which helps activate the fragrance and make it last longer. So, next time you're getting ready for a special occasion, don't forget to apply your favorite perfume to your pulse points!

2: Dab, Don't Rub

Have you ever rubbed your fragrant wrists together after applying perfume? It's possible that you learned this trick from your grandmother, mother, or even from watching old movies. While it may seem like a glamorous thing to do, I want to let you know that it's not the best idea for two reasons. Firstly, rubbing your wrists together can make the top notes of the perfume less noticeable. These are the scents you smell in the first few minutes after applying the perfume. Secondly, rubbing your wrists mixes the perfume too harshly with your natural oils, which can change its scent. Instead of rubbing your wrists together, try letting the scent soak into your skin or lightly dabbing your wrists together or other pulse points. Just remember not to rub them!

3: Don't Spray on Clothes

If you're running late and need a quick spritz of perfume, I'm here to remind you that it's not a good idea to spray it directly on your clothes. Trust me, even a little spray can leave some nasty marks that are hard to get rid of. To make sure that your scent lasts longer and your clothes stay looking good, it's better to apply perfume on your skin and let it dry before getting dressed. That way, you'll smell amazing and your clothes will stay in great shape!
