Just started tretinoin 0.025 cream and am looking to ensure my skintone matches my body tan. Previously used BareMinerals tinted spf but have heard tinted spfs do not provide enough SPF on tretinoin compared to utilizing purely an spf50 facial lotion plus BB/CC Cream. Would appreciate your guys thoughts on this.

why tret, anti-aging?

Prescribed 0.025 tretinoin cream and 15% azelaic acid gel by derm for mild acne, hyperpigmentation, and overall skin texture. Used it years ago but nuked my barrier since I wasn't patient enough I ramped it up too quickly. Was told my acne/breakouts were not severe enough as most of my skin issues were post inflammatory. Love staying tan especially my face so I just want to ensure I am able to fraud tan skin even if I can't tan on tret.

I would highly recommend using a moisturizer that has spf in it and a tinted sunscreen on top. For me I've never had this problem because I always just use tinted sunscreen, when I use moisturizers with SPF it always leaves a white tint on my face that looks ick, probably just because it wasn't a good moisturizer. I use beauty of joseon, imo it provides enough spf. I use azelaic and tret aswell.
