If you can fraud something with makeup, you can probably make it happen on your actual face! I will list some common frauds, what you REALLY want, and how to achieve that (only soft maxxes for now).

*research your skincare actives (acids, retinoids, etc.) before adding any new ingredient to your routine! Many actives are NOT compatible together and can cause irritation.

Additionally, for skincare, I would ALWAYS prioritize skin hydration and sun protection. Have a good moisturizer and sunscreen no matter what.

Blurring Primer ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ smooth skin, less visible pores
How to:
- Niacinimide serum
- Weekly chemical exfoliation using AHAs and/or BHAs
- salicylic acid (BHA) serum on blocked pores
- avoid pore strips and astringent toners, they will harm your skin barrier

Foundation ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ even toned, clear skin
How to:
- vitamin c serum for brightness
- glycolic or lactic acid (often used as toners, exfoliating)
- sunscreen to prevent further discoloration

Concealer ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ no dark circles, no acne
How to:
Undereyes:
- proper sleep (8-10 hours)
- vitamin c eye cream if brightness needed
- retinoid eye cream if skin is saggy
- volluflline
Acne:
- hydrocolloid patches
- salicylic acid
- tretinoin/adapalene
- derm prescribed treatment if severe

Contour ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ More definition
How to:
- weight loss (first line of defense)
- hydrocortisone for nose (apply blow nose bridge, will thin skin WARNING: can cause topical steroid withdrawals and irritation, research cycling before use)
- debloat (avoid salt, increase water, increase potassium, sleep with head elevated)
- lymphatic drainage (gua sha, microcurrent machine, massage)

Bronzer ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ Tan, glowy skin
How to:
- sun exposure (with sunscreen ALWAYS), - fake tan (I recommend Bondi sands technicolor line)
- beta carotene supplements (will not give you a dark tan, just a warmer tone, if you overdo it you can become orange)
- henna freckles
- avoid tanning beds they will destroy your skin

Blush ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ Life-like skin
How to:
- Get all nutrients, specifically iron
- hydrate
- exercise for blood flow
- don’t get a sunburn for a rosy glow, you will only age your skin faster

Highlighter ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ Skin that isn’t dull
How to:
- Vitamin C for brightness
- exfoliation
- prioritizing hydrating and moisturizing products
- snail mucin (some people hate it, I think it is the number one thing that aided in making my skin less dull)

Eyeliner/mascara/lashes ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ Thicker lashes, more defined eyes
How to:
-
castor oil (apply to lashes at night)
- lash serum (I like grandelash! WARNING: can cause infraorbital fat loss and discoloration)
- under lash clusters (more natural looking than strip lashes)
- dye lashes (I personally would not recommend due to risk to eyes)
- lumify or generic brand anti-redness eyedrops for sclera clarity

Brow gel/pencil ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ fuller, more shapely brows
How to:
- Castor oil (apply to brows at night)
- brow serum (I like grandebrow and prefer this for my lashes as well)
- shaping + plucking according to eye and face shape, many good threads about this on here
- dye your brows (I use just for men’s beard dye, be careful around eye)
- I still recommend gel to hold them in place

Lip products ❤︎₊ ⊹
↳ full, bright lips
How to:
- Vollufilline for fullness
- aquaphor or Vaseline for hydration (avoid balms with camphor, as it will dry out your lips)
- manual exfoliation with a sugar scrub
- Nothing can beat a good lip comb tho imo

I hope you enjoyed! You’ve probably heard most of this 100 times and it was mostly just for me to organize my thoughts! <3
