I've had rosacea since I was 15 and it's my biggest insecurity.
I can't leave the house without some form of concealer or bb cream to look less blotchy, otherwise I'm fine with the way I look.

If anyone else is struggling with major acne coming from rosacea ask your doc for this:
Niacinamide/Ivermectin/Metronidazole Gel

Or just get Ivermectin if you can't afford a dermatologist

It should subdue in a couple months.

My struggle is getting rid of the redness, I've looked all over reddit for a safe option but I can't seem to find anything.
Please let me know if anyone has found a fix to chronic redness!!

brimonidine gel or azalaeic acid

By type two you meant Papulopustular right? Do the medications prescribed to you. Doxycycline etc. Accutane might help somewhat so it's worth trying. Save up for CO2 lasers as they might be your cure too. Tropicals like azalaeic acid might also help. Keep your face oil free and cool, consider using aloevera gel and soft moisturizer. Cleanse your face often but be careful with your barriers as fucking with them could fuck your entire face. And yes sun protection it's very important too so spend some sum on that too. Oh and you can use warm compressions too sometimes. Good luck with it 🥰
