weight loss feels like it's taking forever

less then 700 calories daily but i don't think i've lost weight in a month , i must be doing something wrong 💔

not even trying to starvemaxx and be super thin i just want to lose 15 maybe 20 before summer so i can wear a bikini

i've used my fitness pal for tracking and i use a food scale for weighing the food, i'm normally omad too. if you mean my weight it's a digital scale. i think i've lost maybe 1-2 but it seems so low for a month 🥀

Yeah that's extremely low you must not be eating less than 700 cals

is there a way to try troubleshoot what i'm doing wrong because after the first two weeks i added the food scale because i thought it was under estimating but haven't noticed much of a differences

i think you need to incorporate more protein into ur diet, when your body is used to eating so little it kinda doesn’t burn fat
 
if ur doing everything u can to lose weight plus eating that little and tracking everything congrats you’ve officially shut down ur metabolism!

true i'm not doing much cardio just sitting at home but i don't have a lot of energy for stuff but i might be eating too little if i can't do cardio
 
you’re in starvation mode. ur metabolism didn’t necessarily “shut down” it never does really shut down unless ofc the whole body shuts down so that was an exaggeration. but it is very slow because it’s trying to preserve the little food you give it. bump up ur caloric intake please and stop crash dieting. atleast 1200 calories and get ur protein up. u may see temporary water weight but as your body gets used to the amount of energy you’re giving it, your body will eventually adapt. stay hydrated.

when you eat so little, your metabolism slows down, essentially meaning you will gain weight really fast now, what i suggest is you slowly increase your cals but also increase protein + fiber
You can't "shut down" your metabolism, it's just slowed down because it sounds like you randomly cut your calories. It's normally temporary but in general you should try eating better foods.
oh yeah i'm not drinking a lot of water too. i'll increase my fiber and protein and calories. i just wanted results quickly but i guess it's not that easy. 🥀

it’s not and ive been there. when i started consciously eating instead of being so crazy about tracking calories everything worked in my favor.
 
find your TDEE then go 100-200 calories less

people kept telling me less calories is the only real way to lose weight so i thought if i cut it quickly i'd get slimmer quicker. i'll try to be focusing on the types of food i eat and less the calories maybe

today i ate pretty good it was beef pho but usually it's not good food to be honest it's ultra processed

bump ur protein intake up! also incorporate some excerize, 10k steps a day helps TREMENDOUSLY. 700 cals and a sedentary lifestyle ain’t it, 1200 cals and 10k steps with actual nutritious foods and lots of water to aid digestion because i bet your backed up as well if ur metabolism is slow.

sounds like it has a lot of sodium then you'll be holding more water

just eat whole foods, and add cooked vegetables like sweet corn or sweet potatoes on the side

its because ur metabolism is fucked, you have to eat normally first so it doesnt save all the fat from what ur eating because ur starving it
