I have never seen anyone with a Brain step foot in a gym and say I want to do a deadlift
theyre fun and they also make you bigger and stronger + they help all sorts of exercises like thrusts and shi
 
I maxxed 220kg (~485lbs ?) for 7 or 8 reps back then, never tried a 1rm

Nowadays i prefer sandbag training and carry long distances for my firefighting training

Idk, I haven’t deadlifted In a while but my clean was 225 lbs
