I’ve been trying to simplify my skincare and grooming routine instead of buying a bunch of products that end up sitting unused.

For skincare, I’m mainly focusing on the basics: a gentle cleanser, moisturiser, daily sunscreen, and then adding specific products only if there’s an actual issue to address. For grooming, things like keeping facial hair tidy, maintaining eyebrows, and having a consistent hair routine seem to make a bigger difference than constantly chasing new products.

For anyone into lookmaxing, what skincare or grooming changes have made the most noticeable difference for you? I’m especially interested in practical routines and products that work well in a hot, humid climate rather than complicated 10-step routines.

Would also be interested in hearing what you stopped using because it turned out to be unnecessary.

I’ve also been looking through Singapore Home Skin Care for skincare products and professional-style brands, so I’d be interested to hear if anyone has experience with similar products or routines.

alright, first you need to fix your diet. Nothing will work unless you fix your diet, you will always achieve best results with a good diet.
secondly, dont be too harsh on your skin barrier. You do NOT need to wash your face 3 times with cleanser a day, with water in the mornings and alternating between a gentle cleanser and something with salicylic acid in the night is enough. always remember to moisturize post cleaning, and always apply a good sunscreen (even if its cloudy) and keep reapplying.

otherwise i dont really know your problems, theres a multitude of products you can choose from, id recommend you get benzoyl peroxide and azelaic acid to start with (depends on your issues)
