what to do for height? no roids/drugs please

You could try wearing slip-ins for your shoes. Otherwise, no. You can't really change your bone structure without surgery and stretches would provide very minimal and very temporary results. You should stretch anyways though because it's good for you.

Yes. It's almost always a complete waste of your time to try and follow those guides. Even if they did work, it's completely negligible.

You can only optimize your height results when you're very early on into development. You're 17, you're still in development but too far into it for it to change anything like your height.
 
Eat healthy for sure, hang from a pull-up bar, do short fast-paced sprints, stretching exercises and just hope for the best.
