Tretinoin is fine. You could use toners/moisturizers/essence but in most cases it's overkill if your issue is acne and oily skin. You don't really need to be adding so much products to your skin if the goal is to strip away your oils and to unclog your pores. Your issue doesn't sound like a hydration issue. If you feel like your skin is drying out after using a cleanser, then try CeraVe's Hydrating Facial Cleanser. It'd help cleanse and re add moisture to the skin - and it feels nice.should i hop on tretinoin? what ab other stuff like toners, essence, moisturizers, sunscreen etc.
i would say i spend generally at least an hour outside in direct sunlight/natureTretinoin is fine. Sunscreen is important. SPF 30 to SPF 50 is all you need. SPF 50 is ideal but SPF 30 will most likely cast a less noticeable white appearance on your face. Anything beyond SPF 50 doesn't really work. You'd have to try a bunch of products and see what works as it'd come down to personal preference of a formula. It's nice to have whether or not you go out super often, but your money might be better spent elsewhere if you hardly go outside.
Yup. Put it on right before you go outside, maybe 5-10 minutes prior, and then you should be good to go. Sunscreen needs to be reapplied constantly because over time it breaks down and it's effectiveness decreases. It's normally recommended to reapply it every 3 hours. You won't need to reapply every few hours if you're just going outside for an hour.i would say i spend generally at least an hour outside in direct sunlight/nature
but obvi when i go to school im mostly inside. so maybe js put on sunscreen before i go out?
