Discussion What's your bathing routine?

I feel like my bathing routine is very simple. I'm curious what it looks like when compared to other peoples.

I should probably stop using 3-in-1 shampoo and get a separate shampoo and conditioner though, lol.
Use based shampoo it’s sooo good at first I thought it was cope but then when I bought it I just realised how goodddd it really is

Ye but how u don’t now it its number 1 men self care products
I normally go to Walmart and just get one of the cheapest shit I see ngl.

Otherwise I get Every Man Jack or Old Spice.

How often do you bathe, and when you do, what is your routine?
I shower once to twice per day, ideally at night before sleep, not in the morning. I brush my teeth twice per day.

I use warm water and a bar of soap (Irish Spring, Coast, but also Marseille soap and sometimes off-brand "nourishing" bar soaps).
I genuinely don't believe in shower gel since it's 90% water as a main ingredient so for me it's a scam.
I use a bath brush because i found it ideal to clean whole body from toes to neck, and reach the back

For face, i changed my protocol i use now an oil-based cleanser with a sillicone face brush since my Psoriasis goes away (for now), and after that i use a hydrating face toner spray (witch hazel with glycerin, niacinamide, zinc, hyaluronic) to reduce redness, and lock moisture with a very thin layer of Vaseline (or Beef/Mutton tallow once i could make one again).

For hair i just wash it with a sallicylic acid, selenium sulfide, zinc pyrithione, or Piroctone Olamide based shampoo with a special sillicone brush to clear hair & scalp from dandruff and psoriasis flakes, and then apply a thick conditionner overnight.

As for shaving, i shave now once every 3 days in the morning, with a straight razor, brush, shaving cream, aftershave..

I've been washing my hair with body wash exfoliator (not shampoo and not conditioner) and I'll be honest it's been washing my hair the best out of all of the other soaps I've ever used in my hair and I've used a lot. I can't imagine it's good for my hair long term but I'm fucking with it for now.

I'm sure my "What's your bathing routine?" thread is making a lot more sense now.

I dont shower

Use a clarifying shampoo once a week instead, and normal shampoo the rest of the days. I assume the exfoliating body wash helped remove some hard water/conditioner build up, which a clarifying shampoo does.

Do you have a recommendation on what clarifying shampoo to use?

You're probably right though.

I like this one, but really any clarifying shampoo is fine, they’re all very similar. Make sure to put conditioner/serum in your ends after using the clarifying shampoo since it can make your hair feel dry.
