when do you straighten your hair?

i genuinely straighten my hair like once a year and i keep it straight for a week but i have to restraighten it almost everyday
and on top of that i usually do it during spring
ik a lot of people say u should straighten ur hair in minter or something
for reference my hair is black and naturally 3a but i relax it to like 2b or something

i straighten mine a lot because its wavy and its never straight enough or curly enough and is always in the middle so if i dont blowdry it to be somewhat straight ill straighten it, esp my bangs
