i like xenforo for the fact that its easy to navigate and use
imageboards quality depends on how much effort were put into it

one thing about xenforo is that u HAVE to make a acc to make threads and posts unless theres a feature that lets u post as guest
on imageboards u can literally just fill in a captcha or smt if it has one and post
