Doing what a LOT of whites do to obtain a tan (which is to stay in the sun for like 5 hours without sunscreen, and fry the shit out of your skin) is not a good idea.
Caucasians produce by far the least collagen, (especially northern europeans) and also have skin that can't resist any UV radiation (UV radiation is the cause of 90 percent of visible skin aging).
For reference, a basic level sunscreen has a spf level of about 30.
Whereas a dark skinned person (e.g indian or black) has about 13 spf on their skin naturally. (This blocks about 92.3% of UVB rays)
Whereas your average light skinned caucasian can only block about 70 percent of UVB rays. (Obviously, much more vulnerable)
All this goes to show, do not ever damage your skin repeatedly by not wearing sunscreen, or tanning.
Given that white dudes are actually the LEAST protected against general skin aging, doing things like, consistently not wearing sunscreen, or sunbathing without sunscreen, will make you look 40 by the age of 20.
This applies to other races to a certain extent, (since melanated skin does not fully protect you from UVA rays, (which is what causes most of skin aging and leathering))
