Why do jaw implants look so shit from the front?

Implants are dogshit if you want angularity. They just seem to add on size and make the patient look bogged and bloated.

The side is fine though

You personally would need something that fills out the antegonial notch so your jaw could transition smoother into your chin if you are that worried about it
