i had this argument with leea back in the day,
she said that she as a white greek woman is more opressed than me a mixed mulatto or a black person immigrating to europe.

I always thought we should just move on into the future instead of getting hung up over the past

In my mind the slavers and slaves have all been dead for generations, so we should learn from their mistakes and continue on into life.

I'm sure there are flaws in this argument though. I know slavery still exists in many a place, but for this I was mentioning specifically america

for example romans kept slaves from everywhere, not in a racist sense ig

I try to talk about decolonization with another white person and they act like I am trying to do what they do to immigrants, to them.
