What happened to being casual about things
I could genuinely say "I dont like carrots" and I'd have some people up in here being like "you actually fucking r****d, carrots are amazing, kill yourself"

People often tie their beliefs to who they are. Changing their opinion can feel like changing part of themselves
Yeah, this is a good point. Although I do think being capable of changing ones opinion when necessary is a good trait to have and something worth working towards.

I agree. I think it’s important to be open to changing your mind when you’re presented with good evidence or a different perspective. Being willing to rethink your views doesn’t make you weak—it shows you’re willing to learn and grow.

Shaming is ok if it is something shamefull but shaming each other over trivial differnces like gender, race, sexual orientation and looks is just so dumb too me.
