Are bracies with overbite cope or nah?

I have an overbite, didn't go to a dentist yet but i just know it , i heared that putting bracies will make my maxxila resesced ..should i jut my whole life or is there any other option than bracies..will pallate expander help me too??

If your palate is narrow get a MSE with the approval of an orthodontist, braces should correct teeth misalignment and not recess your maxilla.

Get a ceph x-ray, find out what you're actually dealing with. dental overbite and skeletal overbite are different things, treatment depends entirely on which one it is.

braces recessing your maxilla is a forum myth. braces move teeth. if your maxilla is deficient that's skeletal, braces aren't causing or fixing that. what actually matters is whether an ortho wants to do extractions, that's the legitimate concern, not braces in general.

palate expander can be a good option if your arch is narrow. expands instead of extracts, which is what you want. but again, depends on your actual structure.

go get diagnosed first. everything else is speculation.
