arfid haver here, im wondering if anyone else has that ed instead of anorexia or bulimia.

arfid is an eating disorder where you are literally scared of food because of choking or vomiting fears and after a while it turns into disinterest which can be toxic af if you fall into the "yellow foods only" (junk food, fries, pizza, yellow processed slop) category of arfid. its NOT about weight loss but it can be

in my experience, im scared of vegetables and fruits and heavy foods like most kinds of sauce and mixes and salads and most drinks, so I've never tasted pizza and things like that.

i eat fairly simple foods like plain chicken/beef no sauce just salt, plain rice, milk, egg, plain pasta, occasional carrot, and somtimes sweets or chips, and supplements etc which makes me kind of underweight but healthy for the most part. i need muscles tho

what do you guys eat or take to stay healthy with that ed or any other eds that don't let you eat everything? what do you recommend?

all you need to eat is raw organs
not accessible as of now, ive mostly been trying to convince my mom to make my steak more and more rare, and im experimenting with a raw egg in a cup of pasteurized milk, tastes way better than raw egg alone.

you can't get raw meat?

I would recommend buying your own minifridge for raw meat and other items that need to be cold

Then you can mix raw egg yolks (raw egg whites aren't nice imo) with it and eat it

can't get raw organ meat, but steak and stuff i can get. my mom just doesn't want me to eat rare steak, she pretty much cooks it all the way through, she doesnt know i put egg in my milk sometimes, although i got sick last time its prob because eggs are shit quality here I'll try getting grass fed or whatever wont make me sick.

do you live in the west?

If not raw meat is pretty cheap in asia right? You could always eat at school or something
 
dont stress about it just eat meat dairy and eggs

I don’t struggle with A.R.F.I.D but I do am a really picky eater that hates textures. Try with protein shakes if you have a good blender that’s able to handle the “veggie/ fruity” texture.

I'll see what i can do, i asked my mom about protein powder to make up for my losses a while back and she just lost her shit so yeah. im taking mostly vitamins and i feel great.
 
i struggled with arfid when i was younger, mainly my parents just fed me a lot of supplementary vitamins and then smoothies with unnoticeable stuff blended into them. frozen fruit (mangoes, raspberries, strawberries, pineapple) is generally my go to choice when i need vitamins/fiber but nothing sounds good

I don’t think I’ll ever go near pasta it looks so gross to me. My go to veg is broccoli so chicken rice and broccoli is an easy meal. if I eat something like a pizza or nuggets my mum will give me broccoli too to make it healthier but I take lots of vitamins

Since you stand cow milk or eggs then I suggest you stick to that in order to get your protein intake. If anything that’s literally the only thing that I eat for breakfast everyday and now I struggle less with severe (muscular) weight loss. Hope it helps.

yep i do about just that as well. i also eat meat almost every day, mostly chicken, and i munch on the smaller bones. its mostly vitamin deficiencies because of my fear of pretty much anything else

fair fair, i gag at the smell of whatever you just named so im sticking to my vitamins lol, whatever works
