" Men desires beauty because his soul longs for the lost paradise "

Our world is finely tuned , and its code is beauty and harmony , humans are no exception to this we are programed to perceive attractiveness as a positive trait it pleases the eye and the soul .
Beauty summons positive emotions : These emotions can enrich our lives and make us feel more connected to ourselves, others, and the world. In the presence of beautiful things, we feel a broad range of emotions, such as fascination, awe, feelings of transcendence, wonder, and admiration. The experience of aesthetic emotions can happen when a person perceives and evaluates a stimulus for its beautiful appeal or virtues. and this leads us to the halo effect .

The Halo effect : The halo effect is a cognitive bias that occurs when we let one trait, such as physical attractiveness, influence our judgments of other traits, such as personality, intelligence, or morality. The halo effect can work in both positive and negative directions. When we notice a positive trait and then make positive assumptions, it’s called the halo effect. When we notice a negative trait and form a negative impression, it’s called the horn effect.
A common example of the halo effect is attractiveness, and the tendency to assign positive qualities to an attractive person. Research has shown that people tend to rate attractive individuals more favorably for their personality traits or characteristics than those who are less attractive. For instance, more attractive people are perceived as more confident, emotionally stable, intelligent, responsible, sociable, and trustworthy. This phenomenon is also known as the “attractiveness halo effect” and it can have significant consequences for our social interactions, decisions, and outcomes.

The attractiveness halo effect is not limited to one culture or region. A recent study examined the attractiveness halo effect across 45 countries in 11 world regions and found that attractiveness correlated positively with most of the socially desirable personality traits in all regions. This suggests that the attractiveness halo effect is a universal phenomenon that can be found cross-culturally.
Why do we fall for the attractiveness halo effect ? There are several possible explanations. One is that we use attractiveness as a heuristic, or a mental shortcut, to simplify our judgments and decisions. Instead of gathering and processing all the relevant information about a person, we rely on a single cue, such as attractiveness, to make quick and easy inferences . another explanation is that we are motivated by our emotions and desires to favor attractive people. We may feel more attracted, interested, or attached to attractive people and seek their approval or affiliation .

it is worth mentioning that The better one knows someone, the less halo effect plays a role. For example, after a while teachers can guess their academic abilities as accurately as a standardized achievement test This means the halo effect probably is playing a greater role in a more anonymous society with more fleeting acquaintances rather than deep friendships.

Thus you must ascend in terms of beauty , status and in life generally or you will live at the button all your life , you will end up alone or worse : with an ugly low value chick who will ruin your bloodline even more , also the world will perceive in a way that will keep downgrading you , you become the prey and the ruthlessness of the universe will crush you . At the end of the spiral you will find yourself putting a gun in your mouth . a dreadful end right ?

Well you have to wonder why did ancient humans have such a massively larger cranial capacity than humans of the present day. And it would be bizarre for such a race with a larger cranial capacity to not have any advanced civilization or equipment of any kind.

While some studies have found a positive correlation between brain size and intelligence in humans , others have argued that brain size alone is not a good indicator of cognitive abilities. Instead, factors such as the size of specific brain regions, the connectivity and efficiency of neural networks, and the influence of genes and environment may play more important roles in determining intelligence.
Therefore, a larger cranial capacity does not necessarily lead to more intelligence, as there are many other variables involved.

Neanderthals had larger brains than homo sapiens, but this does not necessarily mean they were smarter. Some studies have suggested that neanderthals had more brain capacity devoted to vision and body control, leaving less for social interactions and complex cognition. Other studies have found striking differences in the brains of modern humans and neanderthals, such as the number of neurons, the size of specific brain regions, and the connectivity and efficiency of neural networks. These differences may have given homo sapiens an advantage in learning, memory, and problem-solving.
but as you may probably know homo sapiens survived and Neanderthals did not
as we evolve we lose our physical neurotic power and gain instead cognitive one
and that explains why our brains are smaller , they are smaller but more efficient in terms of intelligence

Cope. Cro magnons mog neanderthals, cro magnons=giga genius and mogs jimmy neutron. neanderthals=looks like willem dafoe, phenotype high iq chemists. all the articles saying brain size doesn't matter is just bluepill cope lol, they are written by copers that want to prove everyone is equal so they will cherrypick research to achieve that. prolly the same group of researchers trying to prove iq has no correlation to intelligence lol lmao.

my opinion is its no different than gaming hardware, for example you might have good gpus but low fps in game because of software issues or because of cpu bottleneck or slow bus and bridges. overall you get a boost from hardware with more transitors, it might difficult to "prove" it definitely but my guess is if you had 2 brains where everything is maximally as optimized as can be, you would get noticeably better performance from a larger brain than a smaller one. At best the smaller brain might give a faster response time but at the expense of result accuracy.

its like which is gonna give you better performance a small itsy bitty widdle phone or a giant mega supercomputer, you know you would choose the giant super megacomputer if it was the same price and you had some storage room to spare.

As for atlantis they aint never gonna find it the water would have eroded the ruins by now lol. and the modern depiciton of atlantis is absurd there's no way anybody's gonna build an underwater city just lol. 1 arrow would cause a burst and flood the whole city. plato said it was an island that sank underwater and it would be eroded by now, if it was made of metal it would have rusted and disintegrated and if it was stone it would have eroded also or just covered up with too much sand and/or combined with the sand

i didn't say brain size doesn't matter , i said modern humans redirected their brain use to cognitive skills instead of survival skills , you dont need to look for mammoth or to hide from a lion no more , we lost many of our primitive skills but we gained things like language , art , math , philosophy .
and that's a W

that dont add up, why would you need a gigantic brain for that, monkeys do not need gigantic brains for that

are you saying the average ufc fighter or circus trapeze artist is more likely to have a gigantic brain than an average university professor?

a ufc fighter needs to calculate his shots and movement well that may resemble ancient humans but it doesn't come close , but cave mans used to have insane control and power and also speed , their muscle control and coordination was probably better than a Olympian gymnast

Still doesn't add up to me. Surely a small monkey brain would outperform cave men in physical ability, monkeys can climb trees and do acrobatic moves

Yet they can't create tools

Yet they can't create tools

More interesting though only the male monkeys were seen using tools. Probably the monkeys are more similar to modern man and modern woman with the large brain dimorphism in personality. Ancient man and woman had only a small brain sexual dimorphism of brain volume, which would indicate the dimorphism of ancient man and woman was probably nothing like modern man and modern woman, and so you would assume the culture and personality was dissimilar as well and more highly evolved.

this was very nicely structured. Ups to you.

true

probably Atlantis existed and everyone there was hot, then once the city collapsed society started to genetically decline
Thanks for the Atlantis insights😆. A lost civilization full of beautiful people is a great idea and raises so many questions. If it existed it would be a society where beauty, intelligence and harmony lived in perfect balance.

The idea that its downfall was a challenge for future generations means that without a perfect environment or supportive social framework people can struggle and face obstacles that can affect their well being and even their genes over time. This opens up so many interesting discussions about how our surroundings, cultural traditions and social systems shape human development and communal values.

And it raises the idea of a 'golden age' where progress seems to come at the cost of certain qualities or principles. There may not be proof of Atlantis but it's a great metaphor to explore our desires and the complexities of social evolution.

What do you think?
🤔
