I've gotten rid of my acne, and now I'm looking into more specific issues with my skin:
1) Clogged pores (blackheads primarily on my nose)
2) Occasional dry/flaky skin due to tret 0.025% (I found a derma that hands tret out like Halloween candy)

What products have worked for you, and what would you advise? I'm considering getting the CeraVe SA 0.5% cleanser, the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (for daily skin care), and something that helps exfoliate my skin (idk what to get). Any help would be really appreciated and marked as a solution.

The CeraVe cleansers are good and I’ve used them, a better SA cerave cleanser tho imo is the acne control one which is 2% SA. I don’t think you’d need another thing for exfoliation since tret and SA...

I don’t think you’d need another thing for exfoliation since tret and SA is anlready exfoliating and more will just increase irritation (which you already said you had dry skin). Switching between the hydrating and SA one or on different days is a good idea to also reduce irritation. A good thing to get rid of sebaceous filaments like on the nose and remove the flaky skin is double cleansing, you start with an oil based cleanser on dry skin (then using the regular Cerave water based one).

there’s a lot of options but this is one I use and recommend I’ve gone through like 5 of them -

and obviously use moisturizer too or even put the tret on after the moisturizer for dryness
