No significant difference is not the same as no effect especially in a trial this size, a difference would have to be large to be statistically significant

Also idk because it doesn’t clarify but if they’re repeating the same test 3 times you’d assume both groups would improve regardless of treatment? Same as people can ‘improve’ iq by practicing or repeating tests
This would make it harder to distinguish a difference

And I haven’t read the study so maybe bullshit but a 2025 one says th opposite

In that cohort, memory impairment occurred in 21.9% of the letrozole-plus-GH group versus 6.3% on anastrozole and 0% on the GnRH analog, with some children also reporting anxiety and sleep problems. The authors explicitly note that cognitive function and risk-taking behaviour may be affected by AI treatment, and that letrozole readily crosses the blood–brain barrier in primates.
