I want to share one of the most dramatic ways you can beat your "genetics" and achieve impressive muscle growth, even as a natural lifter. (STEROIDS WILL ENABLE FASTER HYPERTROPHY BUT NOT THIS)

Many people believe the myth that you're born with a fixed number of muscle fibers, ( we are indeed set with this limitation at first) limiting your potential for growth

This belief however is very misinformed and misleading.

Let me tell you about a technique I've used to defy this notion and develop MASSIVE shoulders, even without considering hormonal aids. ( which helps no doubt but this helps alot too)

We all know about hypertrophy:

⭕️Train to failure
⭕️Rest
⭕️Muscles grow back bigger

That’s success, right? Well, yes, if you're happy with moderate gains. But there’s more.

You can actually increase the DENSITY of your muscle fibers, increase the number AND have larger even more impressive muscles effectively increasing their number, allowing for EVEN BIGGER muscles! It's almost compounding effect! It literally is what separates the good from the GREAT. It's practically gate kept by some of the best bodybuilders In history and fucking works well

It is called hyperplasia, fascia training, nucleus overload training, intra-set stretching. There is many Many names coined for this phenomenon. But they all lead to the same result.

First let's just define what even is fascia

Let's hyper focus on that one tiny little word there. Did you see it? Did you even notice?

Yes. Fascia holds your muscles together. Gives it structure and LIMITS your muscles from growing too large!

This is quite a discovery when you really piece it all together.

What's a very tight and small muscle that you have on the body that just won't grow no matter how much you train it?

For some. It's biceps.
View attachment 32648

Very common to struggle to grow the biceps. A lot of bicep training involves maximal stretches near the bottom of the lift to actually allow the biceps to grow for a lot of people. Biceps tend to be very tight in their fascia. Big biceps are technically a hindrance in natural humans and limit movements. The same thing applies to big deltoids.

However, if you manage to have flexible, bigger fascia, your biceps have a new set point they’re willing to grow to, giving you even bigger muscles.

In my own basic terms, the way to better fascia is this:

1. Pick a muscle group you want to grow very large.
2. Work it out and pump it up to the max you can handle (lighter reps till failure is a good option).
3. Then, at the end of your sets, go and stretch it intensely. The chest is a very easy one. Dumbbell flies and holding the stretched position as long as you can will do a lot for this and unlock larger muscle growth. (Delts are a mega easy one. Do cable lateral raises and hold the stretched position for as long as you can).

Do this for 2 weeks, then rest for a week. Do it again for 2 weeks, then rest for a week (for that muscle group or direct fascia work). Then go back to normal training. You will find your specially chosen muscle group will literally grow and explode like newbie gains all over again.

Repeat this for any muscle group you want. Then start bulking again and focus on hypertrophy. That's it. It's literally that simple

Here are some sources that inspired me that I held on to that helped me focus on this year's ago

Each one has their own name and training method to do this. But just know they all are seeing the same "goal" in a sense. Disregard the naming of their method.

..

Sources and other resources

old fourm post that talks about this

Youtube video from Team 3d Alpha

A obscure one I found that shares very the same notes and ideas in general about this
another one

Finally another one that goes into the science behind different training styles

( for me I have personally been focusing very hard on shoulders and arms for this training method and well I think it works. Idk how far one can take it but as long as the fascia grows. Thus will muscle potential)

View attachment 32649

haha never thought someone would mention team3dalpha he's ultra gatekept imo
but yes that all brings results obviously
just to add to it, I mentioned doggcrapp training before

there's muscle hyperplasia and hypertrophy
hyperplasia is dividing the muscle cells and making new cells (increasing your genetic potential, thats why bbrs use hgh)
and hypertrophy is enlargening them

bodybuilders when they die have way more
type 2"fast twitch" muscle fibers that the avg person
marathons runners have type 1 muscle fibers "slow twitch"

so, yes!
you can grow new muscle fibers and cells by training and stretching it

weighted stretches for every muscle group by doggcrapp.

This shit actually works and youll notice arnold doing chest flys stretching his arms almost to the floor
and he is known for best chest in history

yates for doing machine pullovers which stretched his lats to the extreme
and he had best lats and back in history

his full training philosophy

I only added weighted stretching
haven't run DC program as it's for advance (10 yr+) bbrs, when their gains stop

From reddit scroll a bit to get to the discussion

Weighted stretches, practically possible like this, but theoretically much larger gains can be had, read this: weighted stretches for 30 days on end increased skeletal muscle mass of anterior latissimus dorsi by 172%. Even better: long weighted stretches (for around 6 days per weight) with incrementally higher loads interspersed by 2 days of rest increased skeletal muscle mass of anterior latissimus dorsi by 334% in a bit more than a month. Imagine your muscle mass increasing fourfold.

I was interested in this thread and wanted to see if anyone's tried this form of training and if it's caused any benefits to hypertrophy

What are this tags son, either way ima be honest ive never tried this form of training neither have looked into it, i was never this interested in gym science anyway i cant lie
I just tagged whatever n*****s replied to the OG thread saying they were gonna try it out.
It wasn't replied to much though so I don't have many people to ask
