How much is eye color relevant for poc?

Many people ascend after changing their eye color, and a lot of people argue most attractive people (especially women) have light colored eyes. My question does colored eyes( if they aren't too bright or unnatural) always ascend poc, is it a guaranteed ascension? Does the contrast always look good? Or is there a big portion of poc that look better with soft brown eyes?

great halo + very striking but if it’s not natural it will look uncanny
