Basing on what you said, at the end of the day, they're your parents and they acknowledge that you would be kind of a burden to them. If you're young, you got nothing to give them except your gratitude.
If you were 30, per say, and still in the parent's house, its a whole another situation.
So to start, you should practicing gratitude and verbalize it to them directly after their dids towards you.
I know a lot of people, from the young age, are not used to it and they don't know how bad it is for someone who's really struggling in their lives, and those wish they'd been on your position. Those not used to giving gratitude are walking around grumpy, rendering most things given for granted, and they are truly miserable people.
So try implementing gratitude into your day to day life too, just be grateful for the small things.
