underreporting is a real issue in many placesincluding some Muslim-majority countries. But it’s not unique to them. Even in Western countries, a large percentage of assaults go unreported due to fear, stigma, or lack of trust in the system. So you can’t simply say “higher reported rates = safer societies” or “lower rates = all hidden” both sides have reporting gaps.
Also, it’s not accurate to claim lower rates are mainly because of ignoring marital r**e. Legal definitions, cultural norms, policing, family structures, and overall crime levels all affect statistics. Reducing it to one factor is cherry-picking. and importantly, Islam as a framework (through concepts like nikah) doesn’t explicitly permit r**e so youreblaming the religion itself for reporting issues mixes up law, culture, and enforcement.

This is like saying gay people aren't born gay. Just because we can't pinpoint exactly why they're gay doesn't mean that if they were raised any different they wouldn't be. The fact that r**e and similar behaviours are so common in the west still proves otherwise in fact.

Being “born gay” is supported by evidence from genetics, brain development, and lifelong patterns not just upbringing. r**e, on the other hand, is a criminal behavior with no biological marker or fixed identity the way sexual orientation is studied in humans. So the comparison doesn’t hold scientifically.
Sex crime recidivism also doesn’t prove people are “born rapists.” It shows that some offenders have high reoffending risk, especially without treatment or supervision vut many do not reoffend, and rates vary widely depending on intervention, psychology, and environment. That points to behavioral risk factors, not a fixed innate identity.

Also, high crime or reoffending in any society doesn’t prove inevitability or biological destiny it reflects enforcement, deterrence, social conditions, and reporting systems.

Yes but again you're blaming religion for the bad done by some individuals. The religion itself commands you to respect women and to not r**e them, so you can't blame the religion for the actions of sinners. The clothing part isnt dehumanising, on many reoccurring cases women even in the west report creeps stopped staring at them and approaching them after they started wearing the hijab. Yes it won't save her from a rapist but it'll save her from the gazes of many creeps.
