Palate Expansion And Braces

My ortho said I had a narrow palate and that I should get a palatal expansion and then braces. I am wondering if it would help with my maxilla at all? I have a recessed maxilla and it ruins my whole side profile. All I want to know is what would happen to my side profile and if I can change it from recessing me even more. (Edit, I wanna fix my nose shape with this as well making it more straight since mine sags at the bottom)

palatal expansion will not necessarily give you more forward growth
it expands the maxilla laterally and makes it so your tongue can fit in your mouth better, which directly makes your maxilla project forward (depending on your age) though assuming ur ortho recommended it to you you likely still have a malleable skull.
it does do wonders of making your zygos more projected speaking from experience
