I 100% believe most people would be doing shit like that or equally as bad.

When nobody is going to stop you, you keep pushing limits. Especially when you’re someone who can do anything they want and get desensitized to dopamine and need greater and greater thrills.

When you’re a kid, you might throw a tantrum, you might hit people, you might steal shit, etc. The only reason you stop is because you realize you can’t get away with it. Now imagine the person you would have been if you could get away with every single thing you wanted. You’re deluded if you think you’d be some paragon of morality or even a decent person.

I think one of the problems here is that people are too brainwashed by things like religion, secular humanism, all of the media they’ve encountered preaching traditional morality. They seem to think being “human” is some kind of special condition as if we are all “good and sweet and kind” at our core.

What I say is that we are just complex animals and while we are capable of learning things like morality or whatever, they are most certainly heavily influenced by our limits and what we learn.

What is “wrong” today was right yesterday, actions committed by people just the same as you and I without any regard for whether it is “wrong” or not.
While today we would look at things like slavery, cannibalism, or genocide as “just awful”, our ancestors committed all of these acts with glee. The reality is that you would have done the exact same if you had been able to get away with it.
Every time you have a thought of violence or evil, know that the only reason you are inhibited from doing it was because you learned you can’t get away with it.
It’s not because you are just some “good person”, and I will reiterate, if you grew up without having any limits imposed on you, you would be a cruel “evil” person.

there's no natural precedent for being attracted to little kids. they aren't even fertile so what natural purpose could having sex with them serve? it's a defect if anything, the natural thing to do would be lynchig anyone who abuses kids and that's exactly what would happen if someone tried ts in the stone age.

It’s not even necessarily about kids, but about what people will do when they have no limits. Yes, people with a social structure where they have to follow rules will follow rules. That is what you are saying. I’m saying that if we take someone who has NO rules imposed on them, not someone who is in a prehistoric society, they will absolutely do stuff which is degenerate, fucked up, and evil. More importantly, you are NOT exempt from this no matter how much you think you are

as lower instincts and urges are a part of human nature so is order and progress, we cultivate religion and society so we wouldn't have to be violent slaves to our lower urges. if we accepted all of our urges as natural and therefore permissable we'd be no different than animals. they don't get a pass just because they sit at the pinnacle of our social structure.

the court of public opinion and the system itself because they never really had one. they just got away with it on the low for a while but now we're seeing some justice. Epstein himself was killed and maxwell went to prison. they at least made examples out of the ringleaders even if it's not practical/possible to hold everyone accountable.
