Laying leg raises. Take hip muscles out of it. Keep knees slightly bent and don't touch the ground with your feet. Focus on abs curling up not your hips moving.

Spot reduction of body fat is also proven real. If you need weights you're not using your abs you're using your hips 99 percent likely. As most have no idea how to target muscles properly they are trying to work.
