i measure his ipd at 45.9 so ideal. i think his hair being in his face may create illusion of closer set eyes. i also measured his outer canthal distance as 67.9 which is just over ideal so isnt that either. its probably because of his excessively long midface (0.92 mfr is brutal) and so that makes his ipd look closer set, since probably the main issue with low ipd is that it can fuck with mfr which i think is more important (as an ipdcel with ideal mfr, my cyclops eyes are less noticeable because of my mfr)

i see, i guess having a shorter absolute midface would be ideal with close set eyes to keep the midface ratio good, but unfortunately for me i have the regular 32/32/36 balanced facial thirds so it ruins my midface ratio

i rly think this is the case. i didnt even know i had an unideal ipd (43.5) until i asked to get rated on a lm discord lmao and im pretty sure its because of my ideal midface that i couldnt tell, and theres examples like alain delon and ian somerhalder who have the same ipd as me but if im honest i cant really tell by just eyeballing. if u look at someone like adriana lima's husbamd with a death tier ipd, the bigger issue is that his mfr is like 1.25 which is just ridiculous.

and because u can absolutely shorten ur midface through surgery which saves your mfr, it follows that the main flaw to having a close-set ipd is basically fixable without obo. but nobody thinks of this shit because everyones been told that close set eyes are the only unfixable flaw. lefort 1 saves lives
