why am i still sleep deprived

i think ive been sleeping enough is it like sleep debt? what does sleep deprivation even do like yeah im very tired but apart from it
You always waking-up during a deep sleep (N2) phase hence why you're tired. Ideally you should wake-up during your superficial phases (N1 & N3)

You can try by sleeping less actually. Do you wake-up naturally or with a timer ?

Try to avoid phones and computers 2 hours before sleep to not disregulate your sleep phase, get a less luminous bedroom and read a book or listen to calm music only using the mp3 app. And then try to set your timer at 7am or even 6am to see if you have a change of energy

Theres a few factors
First off you maybe are sleeping too long
Sleeping too long is also not good
Second when you go to sleep
If you go to sleep at 4am and wake up at 3pm you will still feel like shit
Third of all
Maybe you just need to give yourself some time to adjust to this new rhythm of sleeping

like i sleep 7-8 hours and i still slept in afternoon idk whats up with it

Personally i'am not doing it rn because i haven't any problems to fall asleep and i don't wake-up tired.
I try to keep 6 hours of sleep plus a nap in the afternoon unless i have shit to do

But our bedroom is low luminosity and we don't have distractions in it like a tv you know.

6 hours is less tho
